This autumn I had the pleasure of collaborating with the National Trust on a pilot study at Tredegar House, Newport. Last year, the visitor experience team at the property got in touch to ask whether I would be interested in helping them understand the emotions their visitors’ experience. Funding from the Wales Institute of Social & Economic Research, Data & Methods (WISERD) meant I was able to say yes and spend a few months with the Trust designing and carrying out a visitor study.
These tweets give a little bit more detail on the focus of that research. I’ll be adding more on the project over time (as journal embargoes expire!)
